Pajama PAWty Recap: Doggies on the Deck Brought Little Italy’s Cutest Sleepover to Life
San Diego’s favorite pet-friendly happy hour struck again! On Tuesday, September 8th, 2026, Landini’s Pizzeria in Little Italy hosted “Doggies on the Deck: Pajama PAWty” — and if you missed it, you missed out on one seriously adorable night for a great cause.
A Deck Full of Dogs in Their Coziest Sleepwear
From 5 PM to 8 PM, Landini’s iconic dog-friendly deck transformed into a full-on slumber party, with pups of every size trading their everyday collars for pajamas, footie suits, and cozy robes. This wasn’t your average yappy hour — it was a Pajama PAWty, and San Diego’s dog community showed up in their comfiest, cutest best.
Treats for the Whole Pack
Dexter’s Deli came through once again, donating complimentary dog treats so every four-legged guest left with a full belly and a wagging tail. It’s this kind of local partnership that makes Doggies on the Deck one of Little Italy’s most beloved recurring pet events.
Specials That Didn’t Disappoint
While the dogs snuggled up in their PJs, the humans enjoyed $2.50 pizza slices and drink specials — because nothing pairs better with puppy cuddles than a great deck and a cold drink in the heart of Little Italy. A fun raffle rounded out the night, with every dollar raised going directly to support the cause
Benefiting PAWS of Coronado
This pajama-themed fundraiser wasn’t just about cute costumes — it was about impact. Proceeds from the raffle benefited PAWS of Coronado, a nonprofit dedicated to rescue, rehabilitation, and finding loving homes for animals in need. Every slice sold and every raffle ticket purchased helped support their mission.
